I need someone to explain why a guy scouting Haruki in a parking lot was creepier than any actual villain this show has thrown at us. Takura Mao name drop out of nowhere and suddenly her whole backstory flipped. That is the kind of thing that keeps you up at night

Haruki breaking dishes and immediately deciding she ruined everything for everyone is exactly why her grandma's voice lives in her head rent free. Nobody asked her to pay for existing. Cried a little at that montage of the secret key flashback

That creepy man grabbing Haruki was so unsettling and seeing Hayato step in without hesitation was everything. No dithering no second thoughts just standing between them. That's what a childhood friend should do. Also his mom threatening everyone with the quiet order had me cracking up

Hayato placing 53rd while Haruki flexes her first place paper like she just won the olympics. I know this show is a romance but I need an episode where she just tutors him or something because watching him fumble his exams and his feelings at the same pace is comedic gold

The animation on Haruki's face when she gets jealous is scary good. Those little twitches where she tries to keep the perfect girl smile while her eyes go dead. Project No.9 is cooking with this one. The pool day setup is going to be chaos

The ramen scene with Haruki and Minamo was the softest part of this whole episode. Two friends just eating instant noodles and planning a study camp. No drama no jealousy no boys. Just girls being happy. Thats the breath we all needed before the storm

That scene with Hayato's mom calling him out for being surrounded by pretty girls while he just stood there sweating. Peak comedy. But then the title drop about being friends hit and suddenly I wasnt laughing anymore
