Kaido turning up at the classroom door at the end is definitely going to make Hayato realize how pretty Haruki really is, even if she has zero interest in that soccer guy

Episode Context

Episode 5 is a breezy, ensemble-driven school episode that trades big romantic moments for smaller, sharper ones. The tone blends light comedy with a growing undercurrent of jealousy and self-awareness, as outside attention from classmates starts to complicate what Haruki and Hayato thought was a comfortable dynamic. Expect playful banter, some food-focused humor courtesy of Haruki and Himeko committing to a diet, and a cast that expands naturally to include Minamo, Saki, and Kazuki. The pacing is relaxed and scene-by-scene rather than event-driven, but the emotional texture keeps building. This is the kind of episode where nothing dramatic happens on the surface, yet both leads quietly realize their bond is shifting into something neither of them has a clean word for yet.
