It was a really nice episode that expanded on their friendship. The end of the episode was really good getting you hooked with that cliffhanger.

Episode Context

A cozy, school-set romantic comedy built on small interactions rather than major plot turns. Haruki Nikaido keeps up a polished reputation around her classmates, but that composure slips when conversation drifts toward romance, while Hayato Kirishima treats her with the easy familiarity of the childhood friend he once knew. The episode plays out across classroom chatter and lunch-break exchanges, with running gags about Hayato's missing cell phone and Haruki's visible discomfort with girl talk doing most of the comic work. The result is playful and gently awkward, a low-stakes installment that leans into the contrast between how Haruki performs in public and how she behaves in private. Himeko Kirishima and Minamo Mitake are also on hand, so the ensemble stays lively even while the focus remains on the central pair.
