Synopsis

Without any warning, her mom drops the news: she's remarrying, they're moving, and just like that, Ito Narita's life takes a hard left turn, complete with four younger stepbrothers she never asked for. Not one. Four. Gen, Raku, Shū, and Rui, each with their own personality and their own way of making her daily life way more complicated than it used to be. The eldest, Gen, is the kind of guy who barely looks at you and somehow makes that feel personal. He's cold, he's guarded, and naturally he's the one Ito can't stop trying to figure out. The setup is classic shoujo: girl surrounded by boys, emotional walls slowly coming down, small domestic moments that hit harder than they should. But what makes this one work is how grounded it feels. It's less about melodrama and more about the awkward, sometimes funny, sometimes genuinely tender process of strangers learning to be family. If you liked Brothers Conflict but wanted something with a bit more emotional realism, or if Atashinchi no Danshi was your thing and you've been waiting for another blended-family romance to come along, this fits that space nicely. Lay-duce is handling the animation for this 2026 TV series adapted from a shoujo manga, and the comedy-romance balance looks like it leans into character-driven moments over big plot twists. It's the kind of show where a shared meal or a quiet hallway conversation carries real weight.

I thought we were over this bit with Gen but I guess this is his main gimmick. While I get he's the main lead, I thought this week's episode was going to be about the fourth brother we have yet to meet. Ito's big sister overdrive is fearsome indeed. Outa is a really great character, loved that he pushed things along. Can't wait until we get to meet Megu

Walaupun konflik kecil sempat terjadi antara Gen dan Ito, tapi pada dasarnya mereka berdua sudah lancar dalam mengkomunikasikan apa yang mereka inginkan terhadap hubungan keluarga yang baru tersebut. Menarik juga bisa menonton berbagai sudut pandang dari kelima karakter kakak-beradik ini. Komedinya tidak terasa berlebihan, dan plot ceritanya pun kuat.

I find this show very fun so far. Characters are all likable, especially the mc. The mc is charming, cute, and always has a new expression every 5 minutes. Her va Naomi Oozora is perfect for this type of role.

Can't help seeing the Manager from Honeywork in our MC. Overall its not bad, quite wholesome, amazing ending song. The drama is just refusal of communication unfortunately which in these days and age, is a out of date trope.

The show looks cute and fun on the surface but i definitely need to make sure this plot is not going in a WEIRD DIRECTION before i keep watching. sure its fiction sure theyre not related but hetero pseudo incest isnt really my cup of tea so... hearing all that weird stuff literally had me groaning in pure agony honestly

the underlying character design choices establish highly unrealistic anatomical proportions. observing the massive physical size difference between the core cast members actively shatters any sense of grounded realism. furthermore the deliberate visual framing completely misrepresents standard familial relationships through heavy stylization.
