Rui trying to teach Shu how to flirt had me laughing so hard I rewound it three times. The poor kid has no idea his advice is completely useless but his confidence is unmatched. Best little brother in the show hands down

I was so ready for the confession and then he checks her temperature. This show keeps blue-balling us with the romance but the family moments with the step-dad crying on the video call made up for it

I like every single episode. By now, everything is so entertaining that I don’t skip a single scene. So far, I’ve really been enjoying it.

Ito delivering the most profound speech about love and family while wearing a giant brown bear suit is peak romance anime logic and I love it

Shu stepping up and pulling Ito away from Hiroyuki was such a good moment and seeing him care so much for his big sister melted my heart

Gen as Prince Charming is straight up illegal like how are we expected to survive his visuals in this episode

I actually shed a tear when Ito gave that speech inside the giant bear suit because sacrificing her love just to keep the family together is so painfully bittersweet

I really like this episode bringing the focus back to the question of "if Itou likes Gen?" Megu in the first half beings up the question and then the cheating senpai in the later half helps her answer it. And the senpai is voiced by Jun Fukuyama so points there. The pacing is fast but it doesnt feel detrimental to the story. I much prefer this and we can finally see if they can move towards a confession episode.

Syu coming out of his room to hang out on the riverbank made my day. He is making progress step by step.
