Nonetheless, Challe's character provides the solid support that Anne can surely rely on. Yes!!! Finally, the satisfaction I was waiting for! Even though Bridget's character carries a heavy emotional weight, my fulfillment outweighed everything after seeing her devastation, especially given how much she annoyed me. I was so tempted to call her names, but restraint prevailed as that would not be proper. Still, she got what she deserved. Watching her antics really brings out the anger in me. On a lighter note, this episode showcases Anne growing into a much stronger, more mature and resilient protagonist despite each circumstance she was facing, making her development even more refined.

The pacing was a bit hasty during the finale, but it did great with the animation of the action these couple of episodes. The story at least did well in trying up loose ends from previous conflicts, including the deepening of the bond between Challe and Anne as they discuss their wish for each other. Great romance. Then ending the story with a grand confections display. God, I wish there were more seasons.

I love that Challe is silently showing how defiant he is as a character while always searching for a chance to escape. A badass without being loud is so rare these days. It's also sad to see the repercussion of enslaving fairies as a custom distort the fairies' view of freedom, though I admit it's the most unrealistic thing about it. The conflict between fairies and human are mostly background plot that barely has a scene to really emphasize the growing unrest of the conflict.

When our two OTP in a precarious situation is always a fodder for romantic scenes. We learn more about the lore between stones in the sword that I have faith in the writer that will echo throughout the plot. Not to mention the way Keith reacted to Anna's abduction is both naive and understandable that the tension of his scenes were delicious to see.

For a sweet fluffy anime, they don't hold back with the blood nor the violence. LOVE IT. It's great that just as the progress for the Holy Festival is moving forward, there would be new and more dangerous obstacle that comes. Poor Anne, she has the worst luck so far. The emotions are drawn so beautifully.

What a great final episode. The fight scenes are intense and exciting. Furthermore, it is good to see how everyone has developed their characters so far. Then, the episode concludes with wholesome moments. Although Anne and Challe need more interaction, overall, the series is quite enjoyable.

What I love the most about the condition of the challenge is the fact the winning condition hinges entirely on Noah's preference. Thus, it gives Anne a fighting chance to win without making her a mary sue for winning against a very experienced sugar artisan. Hugh's compelling and complex relationship with his job that allows power yet less freedom. The price for his goal that is yet to be said. So good. The design for the confections are beautiful as always, the artist does so well in bring magic to food.
