A seamless progression unfolds from the previous season's finale into this new season's episode, picking up smoothly to keep the momentum going. Although the narrative gives Bridget a more profound depth to fully understand her perspective, her personality still grates on my nerves honestly. On the other hand, Anne's development is steadily growing and very rewarding to watch. And to top it off, the overflowing emotions at the end are truly heart-piercing, with the dialogue feeling both painful and deeply comforting, and the significant scene flawlessly combines with an exceptionally soothing ending song, making the moments heighten with emotions.

I scream from the cliffhanger from last season. So I'm feeling a lot of hype just from starting the episode. I love the catalyst for her journey to bring back Shall (or Challe?) involves using the honor of the Silver Sugar Master that she won thanks to Shall. It doesn't feel plot convenient because of that, while allowing other character's agenda to follow through. Makes the setting feel alive when she's not the only one benefiting. It's also exciting to make this event as her Anne's first hurdle after achieving her goal. I also love the layered complexities that is always introduced to the antagonist of this series. It always hits you right in the feels, every time because of how human and relatable it is. Bridget is the same with her duty as woman allows her to be both spoiled and restricted. The different struggle she has as a woman when compared with Anne, makes her pitiable despite still hating her for her manipulation.
