This is arguably the most difficult episode to watch. There is no option where the pig is saved. The scene where the truck drives away is quiet and honest. It forces the me to sit with the discomfort of the food that I eat, the episode doesn't sugarcoat at all

After weeks of feeling inferior Hachiken finally gets a win. The competition is decently animated, and also internal monologue of the character trying to stay calm is refreshing to watch. It’s a rewarding episode because it proves Hachiken capable of doing great things.

This is a heavy, introspective episode. By taking Hachiken to the Ban’ei races, the show draws a parallel between the massive draft horses and Hachiken’s own life. Watching the losing horse struggle to the finish line serves as a gut punch realization for him.

This is the reason why woman live shorter than man, an adventure epic about useless mission and goals. Just for a pic of a massive tractor, which at the end their friend actually have 3 at home,. They deserve the punishment for their own stupidity. Episode was funny as heck XD

Not often an anime got pizza episode, it's a wholesome teamwork from hachiken and his classmate. The episode itself its just him trying to make pizza but end up involving the whole school and even the teacher joining in too, which give me wholesome feeling at the end

Yep, never ever name your livestock it will hurt you in the end. The episode give some hard truth about livestock industry where you will and only stay with your livestock for short of time only. Overall the episode is kinda gut punching in a way but still giving a good education

Welp, waking at 4.00 AM to do farming is crazy chat. The episode itself got nothing serious going on, but the reality finally hits in when hachiken need to do "school" work at 4 am lmao. The story doesnt shy itself from the actual farming work, which is a good sign for an anime

Great writing for Hachiken’s character. Even though he’s still struggling with his own future, he still thinks about his friends. Strong character development, solid friendships, and a story full of meaningful lessons. Really curious to see how Season 2 turns out!

Am I the only one who cried over Pork Bowl here?? 😭 I didn’t fully agree with Hachiken’s decision, but then again, Pork Bowl is farm livestock, not a pet. His choice really shows how much he’s grown and how everything he’s learned has shaped him.

From the creator of Fullmetal Alchemist comes a highschool farming story lol. WHICH was decently good in my opinion, the manga already ended so I'm just watching this for the sake of animating the manga. Episode one already deliver the great adaptation of Hachiken early life XD
