I'm glad that the art isn't too detailed cause it would be quite graphic on the cow birthing scene. It's nice to have a non farmer's point of view and reaction with how the farmers do their work. It's also nice to have a comparison with the previous episode on how they operate their farm. Overall this episode has been educational and we also got to know what's bothering Mikage.

After weeks of feeling inferior Hachiken finally gets a win. The competition is decently animated, and also internal monologue of the character trying to stay calm is refreshing to watch. It’s a rewarding episode because it proves Hachiken capable of doing great things.

“This industry is harsh” really hits, and I felt the same as Hachiken. Watching this almost makes you want to go vegetarian 🥲 Still keeping that emotional vibe, you really feel his struggles while learning a lot. Also, I’m super curious about what happened with his family.
