Things start to change here. Kikuhiko finally finds his style and grows, while Sukeroku slowly loses control. You can feel the gap between them getting bigger. It’s not dramatic, but the tension is there, and it is slowly building up.

This episode was thoughtful because of the turning points in the stoy. The separations were emotional where fall of sukeroku and good stability of kikuhiko was shown.
