SHAMAN KING FLOWERS

This episode provides some important information about the Flower of Maize competition, helping to explain its significance in the story. However, I personally found the reason behind their fight rather ridiculous. The episode also introduces the final member of Team Hao, and the reveal of his spirit ally is particularly surprising for viewers who are experiencing the story through the anime alone.

The identity of the kid who attacked Hana in the previous episode is revealed here and his spirit ally is quite interesting as well as its ability. Although brief, this episode also introduces a couple new characters. There’s also a major development in Hana’s ability which was given to him by Hao. Did he managed to control it this time? Well, you’ll have to watch the episode to find out 😉

There are quite a lot of revelations in this episode, along with the appearance of a couple of familiar characters. A portion of Hana’s past is revealed, as well as Alumi’s true purpose and the identity of the real enemy. Compared to the manga, Yoh and Anna’s faces aren't revealed in this episode. The studio also decided not to include their conversation with Hao which is very important. From this point onward, we can expect to see more familiar names and faces popping up as the Flower of Maize is about to kick off.

Based on what happened at the end of the previous episode, you’d think Hana was going to come up with some clever tactic involving Yohane, right? Well, you’ll have to watch the episode to find out 😁. The studio did a great job adapting the events of this episode, staying faithful to what transpired while making the key moments hit even harder. For anime-only viewers, what happens in this episode will definitely blow your socks off. There are some genuinely surprising developments that make this episode well worth watching.

This episode reveals more about Daikyoh’s past while also showing Yohane’s true character as he adjusts to society. Another ominous character is introduced in this episode but unfortunately, not much is revealed about him yet. There are some questionable yaoi bait scene in this episode which Alumi is blatantly pointing out. The scene at the end is rather suspicious, was it the work of the mysterious man or was it willed by someone? Better watch the episode to see some clues about it.

With a new character comes a new development in the story. You could even say that she serves as a harbinger of a much bigger event that’s about to unfold. Tamao gets to fight in this episode, but was the fight epic or underwhelming, you ask? Better watch the episode to find out 😉. More importantly, the dialogue and actions of the characters seem to be laying the groundwork for something significant. There are plenty of hints pointing toward a larger development, but for now, the story is keeping its cards close to its chest.

Just when you thought Hana's personality was very different from his father, he displays a similar trait that Yoh has in this episode. Hana's Oversoul is also explored in greater depth, giving an explanation to its abilities. Another interesting moment is when Hana suddenly blurts out his goal, which is, to put it mildly, quite questionable. The episode also delivers a couple of surprising reveals, but one of them in particular will definitely knock your socks off.

This is the sequel to Shaman King (2021). If you watched the 2001 version, I recommend going back and watch the 2021 adaptation, or at least read the Kanzenban manga. The story takes place several years after the Shaman Fight with Hao. This time, the OG cast isn’t taking center stage. Instead, they take on more of a supporting role while a new generation of characters gets the spotlight. There’s also a major reveal in this episode that introduces the current enemy, so it’s definitely worth watching if you want to see where the story is headed. It’s also being produced by the same studio that handled Shaman King (2021), so you can expect the quality to be about the same.
