This episode is where things start to get tricky for Taro as he has to protect his family while also ensuring that he does not get himself killed.Shin is very skilled and is also a great listener. We are introduced to Nagumo who is quite mysterious and Shin is not able to read his mind so we still have a lot to uncover and /or learn about him.

The creator is legit genius on how creative Sakamoto’s fighting style executed, those random stuff turned to a lethal weapon is pure cinema, and fighting choreography? Legit lit!

Old connections pop up and things get real fast. You get a glimpse of the bigger threat, so it’s not just random fights anymore. Still got that chill/funny vibe, but the danger feels closer now. Nice setup ep ngl.

Okay this ep lowkey just sets things up, but in a good way. We meet Nagumo and he’s already chaotic and interesting. The whole bounty situation makes everything feel more serious now. Fights are fun, jokes still land. Not crazy hype, but solid and building up.

I was nervous for Sakamoto, I really thought his family would get kidnapped and used as hostagee by the other hitmen. The balance between humor and action was perfect. And as always, Sakamoto handled everything with his unorthodox style, neutralizing them without killing anyone.

They just wanted a normal day at a theme park. That’s it. Instead we get rides, screaming, and bullets flying. Sakamoto dodging danger while holding snacks like a dad on vacation is peak comedy.

The balance between the fun, normal life and the scenes involving other hitmen (and adhering to the No-Kill) rule is still preserved here, accompanied by comical timings. And we get to see how great Shin and Sakamoto work together as a team!

Imagine trying to enjoy a family amusement park day while every hitman in Japan is gunning for you. This episode is basically Sakamoto being a menace while also being a devoted dad and I'm obsessed! Recommended!✨

A funny, deadly, and wholesome episode, Shin was really showing his skills here. And with another character introduced that knows Sakamoto’s past, it just keeps getting better and better. I guess moving on to the next banger episode!

Although some will find the source material’s take on this episode’s events more stimulating, new and long-term fans will applaud TMS Entertainment Studios for trying to capture the author’s artwork. But all in all, this was a fun showcase from this show.

Keeps the momentum high with fast-paced, stylish action and sharp comedic timing. Character interactions deepen, stakes rise, and the mix of humor and tension makes it another fun, engaging installment in the series.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 3 builds directly on the momentum from Episode 2's twin assassin confrontation, escalating the threat level by making Sakamoto's bounty a central plot driver and introducing Nagumo as a key player from his past. Positioned early in the 11-episode run, this is the series establishing its stakes and expanding its cast before the conflicts intensify. It feeds directly into Episode 4, 'Hard-Boiled,' where Sakamoto's history brings even more dangerous opponents into the fold.
