Anime ini merupakan romcom favoritku di season ini. Semua ceweknya sangat cute, dan meskipun komedinya tidak terlalu membuatku tertawa, tetap tetap menghibur. Aku suka format di mana setiap cewek mendapatkan arc-nya masing-masing. Namun, untuk arc terakhir, aku lebih prefer kalau mereka fokus pada main heroine-nya. Itsuki sendiri juga tipikal sebagai MC romcom, meskipun bukan berarti aku tidak suka. Sayang sekali anime ini belum mendapatkan Season 2. Aku masih penasaran dengan teman masa kecilnya Itsuki.

Hinako actually tried. Like actually ran and swung the racket because Itsuki was the prize. That war face scared me more than any villain this season

Narika's console specs speech lives in my head rent free now. She basically said get a better body to run more sports and somehow that made complete sense to me

I came for the caretaker comedy and got a psychological tennis war instead. That handshake over the net was colder than the entire match. Neither girl even looked happy winning

Itsuki calling that whole mess a fitness exercise and walking away smiling is the densest thing I've seen all year. Bro she said winner gets a date with you

Mirei still clears Hinako and she barely even showed up this episode. Fight me

Not sure why everyone is dunking on the tennis match as just harem filler. The whole point is that both girls sabotage themselves once feelings get in the way and neither one actually feels good about winning. Narika takes the match but the handshake at the net says nothing got settled. I think that is way more interesting than a clean hero win

Narika finally getting classmates to ask her to teach them badminton got me a little. She spent all episode wanting one person to talk to her

Narika winning but looking miserable and then asking Itsuki to think up a hairstyle for her too is such a petty end. She is not done fighting

Trying to talk to that one guy and scaring him off with just her face was too real. Changing a whole school's opinion of you is not a one episode thing

The animation on the tennis rally actually stepped up which caught me off guard since this show usually just coasts. Narika losing her cool and both of them flubbing easy shots because they are too busy being jealous is the real story here though. Itsuki being clueless is getting old for me at this point

I cannot believe Itsuki watched those two nearly kill each other over him and thought they were bonding. My guy has negative awareness

That wet cat Hinako shot after the rally lives in my head now. Way better than her usual doll face

Hinako telling Narika she calls Itsuki by his first name mid court change was such a cheap shot and it worked. She almost broke her right there

Narika calling her body a console and sports the software is the funniest thing this show has ever done. Gamers stay winning

Narika's face being the problem killed me. Three strategies all flopping and then that makeover bit where she shows up looking like a delinquent after a street fight. That teacher asking who she fought with. Genuinely funny stuff.

This was a slower episode for sure. Narika's whole arc is sweet and the tennis practice was nice but the failed attempts at making friends did feel a bit repetitive after a while. The ending with Hinako in his room saved it though. That line about wanting to be together forever hit. Still hoping the last two episodes pick up the pace a little because the season is almost done and I want more of Hinako and Itsuki actually progressing.

Itsuki getting called out for being a social climber threw me because you know some people really do see it that way. But the way he handled it and the nightgown scene after -- I'm rooting for these two so hard now. Hinako admitting she wants him forever was everything.

I keep seeing people say Itsuki is too plain but episodes like this show why he works. He didn't lecture the guy who insulted him. He just decided not to run from his feelings. That's more backbone than tons of romance MCs have. The tennis scenes were fun too.

That moment when Itsuki remembers seeing Narika train in kendo as a kid and realizes the real her was there all along. Underneath all the 'demon' rumors there's just a person who loves sports and wants friends. Heartwarming episode from start to end.
