I'll say it. Mirei is best girl now. The way she softened around Itsuki and admitted the haughty speech was fake the whole time. Watching her destroy him at the claw machine was peak though. Wait I mean she lost. She lost everything. That made it funnier.

I was not ready for her to say she was using the family name as an excuse to run from her own desires. That confession rewrote the whole season for me. And the reveal that she's adopted like Itsuki was abandoned makes their connection feel so much deeper than just romance.
