I like that because the rules of the battle royale of this show isn't as rigid as it is typically is, losing sometimes is more meaningful than winning. In the case of this episode, two characters with seemingly intimate relationship with each other, reaffirms their bonds through a battle of resolve and it's kind of moving. Just goes to show that there's more to the auditions than reaching the top, at times, it's simply carrying someone towards a particular goal. Mid season was joy to watch, excited to see what the latter half has in store.
The focus is on Kaoruko and Futaba this time. I honestly care about them the least, but it's still a good episode to know more about their dynamic and relationship. This makes you realize the characters have some really complicated relationships... My girlfriend liking the two while they're my least favorite ship is so funny. 🤣 It's still fun and cute to watch though!
little futaba and kaoru are so STINKING CUTE !!! woah that little futaba transition to her being a full blown masc gave me CHILLLSSS GIRL THAT WAS HOTwoah trouble in paradise LMAO sadly, codependency and yuri really does go hand in hand even in real life 😭
