This is some masterclass in pacing a story. They simultaneously presented a character's background, went through their motivations and objective, and had the time for some character development along the way. And it flowed smoothly, even being an essential part of this episode's fight scene. And what makes it better is that it made that particular character worth cheering for both by her fellow cast members and the viewers of this show. Halfway through and we're still going strong, ready for the next one?
This episode focuses on Mahiru and her relationship with Karen and the stage. Mahiru's codependency has always been apparent, but this time we get to learn why she's the way she is. The revue was so much fun. We're rooting for you, Mahiru!
