I like that because the rules of the battle royale of this show isn't as rigid as it is typically is, losing sometimes is more meaningful than winning. In the case of this episode, two characters with seemingly intimate relationship with each other, reaffirms their bonds through a battle of resolve and it's kind of moving. Just goes to show that there's more to the auditions than reaching the top, at times, it's simply carrying someone towards a particular goal. Mid season was joy to watch, excited to see what the latter half has in store.
