So funny that Poem kept trying to tell him that she wants to hold hands mulitple times. Like Togo was just super oblivious about it and just casually started holding her hand towards the end of the episode. Super cute hahahah. That wasa nice wrap up for season 1

W relationship. but my memory of their coming together in the manga scene seems prettier than how the manga portrayed it.

Yeap this is why my memories of this series is mostly about the kaichous, they really spent a lot of time on them instead of the main cps.

Still slow in pacing but the story itself is good, the president is def the author's fav girl.

Happy to had this adaptation. Reflects the manga well and is an overall cute romance anime. Look forward to more if possible!

The rap battles are one of my favorite part about the manga, just a tat disappointed it wasnt done by the seiyuus hence it felt weird, but overall the feeling is there.

One look at the health representative and all the manga memories flowed back to my mind. Crazy that this was release together with Seihantai and here we are having both adapted at the same time.

This series starts with a familiar setup: a rigid, overly serious morals committee member named Tougo guards the school gate every morning, constantly clashing with Poem over her defiant, short skirt. But when the two are unexpectedly thrown into remedial classes together, Poem discovers that this uptight rule-follower is completely hopeless at studying. What follows is a chaotic, funny, and surprisingly sweet rom-com about two complete disasters slowly finding common ground. The chemistry between Tougo and Poem carries the whole show. Tougo is earnest and clueless beneath his strict exterior, while Poem is confident and emotionally intelligent, completely flipping the expected tropes. The show leans into a vibrant, pop-art visual style with great comedic timing, slapstick, and exaggerated facial expressions that make the gags land. The side characters aren't just background noise; they bring plenty of weird personalities and running jokes to the school setting. The momentum is breezy and fun for the most part, but the final few episodes tend to stall out and lean into frustrating, manufactured misunderstandings. While the visual presentation is colorful and expressive, it relies on budget-saving shortcuts like still frames and chibi gags rather than high-end polish. Aside from the opening and ending themes, the background music doesn't leave much of an impression. If you enjoy "opposites attract" high school rom-coms with strong character chemistry and plenty of laughs, it's a really fun watch. It doesn't reinvent the genre, but its charm makes it an easy and entertaining ride.

Pacing is slower than what I remember.. They really stretch a whole episode to fit only 2-3 chapters only huh.

And so the president is introduced to the story! I still have the memory of how their relationship was developed in the end!

Ah all the cute memories! All the future chapters are flowing in to mind as the character traits are revealed and reminded to me

I binged this whole season while in bed sick. A really funny slice of life that's really colorful in its characters and art direction. Sakura Daimon and Poem are too cute in their interactions and bring me back to those earlier 2000s anime like Fullmetal Panic. The cast of side characters is also hilarious, including the student council. Overall, a satisfying short rom-com worth your time.

One of the funner subplot arc got shorten down it seems, but still funny regardless.
