Synopsis
Tougo Sakuradaimon stands at the school gate every morning with a clipboard and a mission: make sure every student meets dress code. His number one repeat offender is Poemu Kohinata, a gyaru with bleached hair and a skirt hemmed way above regulation. She thinks he's an uptight buzzkill. He thinks she's a walking violation. Their daily back-and-forth at the gate has basically become routine at this point, with him lecturing and her not caring even a little. But then Kohinata finds out that this guy who acts like he's got everything together is actually kind of a disaster: the dude can barely pass a math test. Turns out the morals committee's most dedicated member has his own weaknesses he'd rather keep hidden, and once that gap between his serious front and his real self opens up, the whole dynamic between them shifts. She starts seeing him differently, he starts loosening up, and what used to be annoying encounters start turning into something else entirely. It's that slow-burn, opposites-attract energy where the comedy comes from how well these two clash before they click. If you liked the teasing dynamic in Teasing Master Takagi-san or the awkward will-they-won't-they tension of When Will Ayumu Make His Move?, this is right in that lane. A short-format school romcom from Zero-G, adapted from the manga, hitting in 2026. Low-stakes, warm, and genuinely funny.

I binged this whole season while in bed sick. A really funny slice of life that's really colorful in its characters and art direction. Sakura Daimon and Poem are too cute in their interactions and bring me back to those earlier 2000s anime like Fullmetal Panic. The cast of side characters is also hilarious, including the student council. Overall, a satisfying short rom-com worth your time.

This finale was just pure sweetness. No unnecessary drama, just two dorks finally understanding each other😭 The school gate scene might be one of my favorite romance endings this season.
We started with skirt inspections and ended with Poemu malfunctioning because Tougo looked too good. Character growth. Such a cute finale <3
WE ACTUALLY GOT THE PROM PAYOFF. After all that awkwardness and chaos, seeing Tougo and Poemu finally reconcile was so satisfying.
Anime ini berhenti di stopping point yang sangat bagus. Hubungan semua pasangan mengalami perkembangan yang terasa memuaskan, jadi biarpun ceritanya belum selesai bisa terasa seperti penutup. Satu hal yang masih menggangguku adalah wakil ketua OSIS yang tetap tidak menyadari identitas asli Yamada Hanako. Secara keseluruhan, aku sangat menyukai anime ini. Di tengah banyaknya anime romance musim ini, seri ini berhasil tampil menonjol berkat komedinya yang benar-benar lucu. Ditambah lagi, visualnya penuh warna dan bagaimana anime ini mengimprovisasi source material-nya, sehingga terasa segar meski tetap mempertahankan inti ceritanya.
Sakurada normally looks like he wants to take a nap but the way he stood up to those guys making fun of Akina was actually kind of cool for once
Poemu trying to be a serious cat girl waitress while her mom and sister just blast her with phone cameras is basically every family outing ever and her face was priceless
I still cannot believe the school let a full on rap battle happen in a classroom, and seeing Poemu's dad actually hold his own against that logic ship was just too funny
tougo blowing his whistle at every single student for the matchmaking cards is extreme commitment even if he is being a total buzzkill
Wait did the show just turn into a hip hop anime for ten minutes because seeing those two dads go that hard on the mic was the last thing on the bingo card today
nadeshiko is a genius for the yamada hanako disguise, and she basically tricked kaoru into a perfect festival date
kaoru trying to be a tough discipline guy while being terrified in the haunted house was hilarious
that doctor dad encounter in the stairwell was so awkward and poemu was rightfully terrified of that man
i still have that rap battle beat stuck in my head because those two dads were going so hard over their kids
poemu in that cat ear headband is the cutest thing ever and her family taking a million photos is exactly what my parents would do
i am losing it because kaoru had no idea he was on a date with the president and he was blushing so much over that manga
sakurada getting all defensive when those guys were making fun of the matchmaking cards was actually sweet and it made akina look so happy
Watching Tougo's dad pull a lab coat out of nowhere to check Poemu's ankle was the funniest thing in the entire show so far, especially after that intense rap battle in the gym, and it is cool how the side characters are getting so much focus right before the finale while Nadeshiko plays Kaoru like a fiddle and he just blushes over his crepes
the rap battle between the dads was so weirdly good and i did not expect them to start flying through space while rapping about parenting struggles
