This 'prince-like' figure, Seiichi Tsukishima, introduces himself as a Library Committee member with flowery, theatrical language. He even calls her 'Sleeping Beauty,' admitting he watches her sleep, much to Poemi's flattered embarrassment. Her initial swoon quickly gives way to dismay when she realizes he is yet another committee member.

Outside, Poemi reads the book Tsukishima recommended, feeling charmed. Togo approaches, impressed she is reading, and offers to introduce her properly to the helpful committee member. Poemi agrees eagerly, only to be horrified when Togo points out a hunched, buck-toothed student engrossed in manga as the 'real' Tsukishima. The library's magic is revealed as Tsukishima undergoes a sparkly, 'magical-girl' transformation back into his handsome self within its walls. Despite Poemi's protests, Togo is determined to solve the 'Case of the Missing Lunch Box,' launching a formal, systematic investigation. He starts by questioning Poemi about her morning routine at the shoe lockers.

Their investigation leads them to the infirmary, where Izubushi confirms Poemi's visit for a scraped knee but offers no clues about the lunchbox. Next, they return to the library to question the 'prince' Tsukishima, who remembers Poemi returning a book earlier. He also saw nothing suspicious. During the interrogation, Tsukishima struggles to maintain his handsome facade, letting out a series of comical sneezes that briefly reveal his buck-toothed, classroom self.

Togo presses Poemi about other places she visited, making her blush profusely. Mortified, she finally shouts that she went to the toilet. Togo reacts with exaggerated shock, treating the restroom as an inviolable crime scene. He then dramatically concludes that since the toilet stall was a 'sealed room,' the thief must be someone Poemi spent the rest of her day with. With a flourish, he accuses her friend, Tasaki, of being the 'Phantom Thief.'

Outside, a storm brews, mirroring the escalating tension. Togo finds Tasaki in the cafeteria and publicly accuses her, envisioning her as a masked 'Phantom Thief.' Tasaki is utterly bewildered. Togo launches into a dramatic monologue, explaining his flawed logic and growing emotional over the 'tragedy' of Poemi's hunger and the 'mother's love' in the bento. He collapses dramatically, overwhelmed.

A timely PA announcement interrupts Togo's theatrics, calling Poemi to the front gate for her mother. Poemi, followed by Togo, Tasaki, and Akina, rushes outside.
