EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the looser, more carefree energy of Episode 7's beach setting, Episode 8 returns to familiar school ground and refocuses on Sakuradaimon and Kohinata's dynamic at a more personal level. At the two-thirds mark of the season, it functions as an emotional pivot — the comedy-first tone of the early episodes gives way to something more intentional. With four episodes remaining, this one plants seeds that the final stretch will almost certainly harvest.
