Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

A balls to the wall finale to this chaotic comedy. The live action woman absolutely killed me, and that cliffhanger haunted me for 8 years. Anyways great watch would 100% recommend

Recap and actual plot episode. Kind of surprised it went in this direction. It's still raunchy and chaotic its just a tad bit more serious this time

Garterbelt backstory episode. Pretty crazy stuff ngl. Second half's whole thing is that it all takes place in the living room. It's very casual as the sister's just banter back and forth.

Obligatory beach fanservice episode lol. The lil South Park visual gag was fun. The second half was ridiculously silly ( I mean this a compliment it made me laugh)

Another parody episode this time its zombie apocalypse movies and court dramas. I like how they dimmed the color palette for the zombie part it def didn't end how I thought it would lol.

First part is a funny transformers parody with the show's raunchy humor. This part having a narrator made it even funnier.

Probably one of the best episodes in the season and one of my personal favs. The whole episode is dedicated to the conflict between the Anarchy sisters and the new demon sisters. The jabs they take at each other are hilarious. The demon sisters are great foils.

The second part takes a complete 108 with the artstyle. It's very ugly but obviously on purpose. Made me super uncomfortable tho, and the vomit didn't help any. Did not enjoy this one as much.

First half is more Stocking focused, and even references a conversation they had in the last episode. Panty using other ppl's underwear for weapons was pretty funny

The constant innuendos in the second part with the "sea men" were pretty funny. Overall funny episode.

I like both parts of this episode. The various references to celebrities from the 2000s in the second half made me giggle.

Not as funny as some of the previous episodes imo. Prolly because the references in the 2nd and 3rd second completely flew over my head. Having 3 segments rather than the usual 2 def hurt the pacing.

Perfectly sets the tone of this series by starting it off with a poop joke episode. Would recommend watching the English dub as it's pretty much perfect casting.

The finale goes all-in on the spectacle and pure unpredictability. It just kinda goes off the deep end in the best ways possible. It's practically controlled chaos in how everything was presented. Gainax was certainly a master of its craft in this episode.

An unexpectedly somewhat serious episode. Well, somewhat. The episode still retains its crude chaotic humor while actually focusing on something resembling a narrative thread. Unexpected moments come up that would make you go "wuh," for lack of a better word.

Finally, a Garterbelt focused episode, somewhat. It doesn't really unravel the mystery surrounding him, which is honestly preferable. He's still entertaining as mysterious as he is. The second segment relies almost entirely on character interactions.

Probably the most frantic episode yet because it has to fit in three whole segments into the episode. I don't think every joke lands, but the sheer unpredictability of the episode helps soften those and keeps it entertaining enough.

A balance of comedy and atmosphere with a segment set on the beach. It's loud and ridiculous, which is perfectly on brand for Panty and Stocking. Meanwhile, the second segment slows down with some memorable moments for Stocking.

Another parody for the first half, this time of zombies. The series' familiar over the top nonsense and visual chaos is a feast for the eyes. The second half and its courtroom-style story commits to its ridiculous logic in the weirdest way it could think of.

The first half is a full on Transformers parody... It's just nonstop visual gags and transformations that gets more ridiculous as the episode goes on. Second half is... well, it showcases the shameless depravity Panty and Stocking would go to, let's leave it at that.
