The mystery of the story keeps adding up. The action scene was a bit lame in my opinion. If that's how easy to dismantle their armor, then what's the point of having it. Ginjirou is a great man, I just hope that his choice is a good one. The Ginjirou's backstory was told in thisepisode and was great.

So the story is teetering on a straight comedy with a solid story and premise, to a hard boiled mystery with future tech, alien monsters, and an overarching story with compelling characters and lore. I love the fourth wall breaks and occasional joke, however if they are going for a more dramatic reveal and backstory they should keep the tone more serious, though the big shout was pretty funny in that one moment, which brought some needed levity in that instance.

Seikichi and Sora's dynamic remains as charmingly chaotic as ever, but seeing the town's broader law enforcement get dragged into supernatural monster hunts gives the overarching plot much-needed momentum.
