π SYNOPSIS
Set in Edo during the mid-1800s, "Oh! Edo Rocket" follows Seikichi Tamaya, a fireworks maker, and his companions as they navigate a society governed by strict morality laws. The city councilor has banned all forms of luxury, including the vibrant art of fireworks. Their lives take an unexpected turn when a strange girl arrives at Seikichi's shop with an extraordinary request. She tasks him with creating a firework capable of reaching the moon. This seemingly impossible goal forces Seikichi and his friends to challenge the oppressive regulations and pursue their dreams amidst a backdrop of societal constraints. The anime explores themes of freedom, ambition, and the power of defying limitations.
