Another fun episode to watch, with a little less action than the epiosdes prior (There's a little bit of it at the end). Regardless, I think this episode set up where the characters are and which ones are going to Kyoto for this showdown. A fun way of showing it,especially the scene with Kana and the paranormal club. I do wonder why they're included and what the author has in mind for them, as I personally think the plot could go on without them, as it feels like they're there to start trouble than anything else. Either way, I do like this episode, and dare I say that I starting to like the Keikain family lol.
The buildup of this episode sets a subtle momentum for the ongoing lore and direction of the narrative. And even though the pacing feels a bit leisurely as it moves toward the most substantial core of the story, it is completely redeemed by gradually heightening the intensely darker, grim thrill and emotionally fearsome high stakes.
