We continued from the last episode, with the Keikain clan scene. As always, I personally like the fight scene, as I felt there's a lot of layers and not a simple people with the higher power would win, as people uses their strategy too. We learned a bit with Akifusa's backstory which is always appreciated, to see a side character story. And I really enjoy Hagun's twist a bit, which is nice, especially because we get to see a familiar face. And then that scene within the flying ship sent dreads into my head, as in, are we seriously doing this NOW? Then again, this is better than it happening later in a more serious scene.
Leaning into the previous episode's cliffhanger proved to be an exceptional way to continue the momentum, and each scene delivers far more intriguing and unexpected moments that deliberately compensate for a moderate pacing, despite featuring subsequent flashbacks of significant perspectives. Aside from that, as the story unfolds, an intensely escalating conflict and an engaging cliffhanger efficiently elevate everything from its measured pace.
