Good Yura and Rikuo episode. It sorta clears up loyalties, and the blurring line between Rikuo’s human and yokai worlds.
This is such a fun fight scene as we get to see how tricky a fight with Ryuuji is, and the fight might become as interesting as we go deeper into the plot. We also get another hint of another plotline with what's happening with the Keikain in Kyoto. Even when the fight animation is just okay, it makes up with how fun the fight is, almost like chess. And once again, my biased mind, I really like Yura, she's so cute and her kyoben tripled her cuteness too. We also get a little snippets at the end, which really intrigued me about Nura clan's past too.
The narrative structure of this episode essentially showcased the thick substance of the story arc, pushing the plot direction into an intensely brisk pace that keeps you grippingly hooked. In addition, the visual direction does a phenomenal feat in highlighting the tactical weight of the battle, using sharp color contrasts during the high stakes standoffs. And the seamless transition into the climax perfectly sets up the escalating friction, plus those slight comedic gags offered a great execution in breaking up the tension.
