I know there will be some obstacle in between Rikuo and Kyoto, but seeing it like this, feels a bit iffy, as I thought there would be more build up to it, as we're still in episode 11, so there are some space for more development. I didn't dislike the battle itself, infact I liked it, especially with how the Itaku and Kubinashi one (Even though it was a bit anticlimatic). But something about the scene after that is a bit redundant in my opinion, feeling more like fluff, and not the fluff that was supposed to cut the tension. Maybe the author will have something in coming with them.
Unsurprisingly, the series also relies on the subtle flashback cliche right in the middle of a high stakes buildup, which personally kills the thrilling momentum for me. Even though such backstory details are crucial to making the overall narrative resolution hits its climax, dropping them mid-fight completely disrupts the pacing. But that being said, the highly detailed 3D effects in the animation were exceptionally well executed, and the comedic gags are still there providing a welcome break to uplift the mood.
