I really loved this ending. Seeing Nanaka say goodbye to her 6-year-old self was emotional, and I was happy that Nenji and her father accepted her. The biggest lesson wasn't just growing up, but choosing what kind of adult to become. Such a beautiful finale.
This is the final episode of the show. It is very sad because Nanaka finds out her favorite TV show is ending. She has to learn how to grow up and say goodbye to things. It is a very beautiful ending for her and Nenji. I loved this anime.
Things get very messy in this episode. The older Nanaka finished writing the big play before she turned back into a kid. Now the six year old Nanaka has to announce the cast members. It is very funny because she has no idea what is going on.
Things get very serious in this one. We find out that the older Nanaka left some secret messages for her younger self. The big school play finally happens and Nanaka has to save the day. Nenji starts to worry about what will happen to her soon.
The school is preparing for a festival. Nanaka is very excited and tells her class to put on a play based on her favorite TV show. The class agrees and asks her to write it. It is funny to see a little kid trying to direct a real play.
Nenji gets very sick in this episode and has to stay in bed. Nanaka does her best to take care of him. She wants to be a good nurse but doesn’t know what to do. It’s really funny to watch her try to help. Nenji is lucky to have her around.
Episode 11 is one of my favorites. Through a simple story, it shows Nanaka learning to face and accept herself with courage. I also loved how the writer connected Magical Domiko's spell to become an adult with Nanaka's own transformation into a 6-year-old. It's a clever and meaningful parallel.
The big Nanaka returns for a short time. She behaves very coldly and shows little concern for her friends. She feels very sad when she hears Nenji speaking poorly about her. They have an important conversation at a temple. This episode is serious and filled with strong emotions.
The class takes a big trip to Kyoto. Nenji has to work that much harder to keep Nanaka a secret. When she gets lost on her own, it gets very scary. Nenji had to run all over the place to find her The show gets a little sad over here.
Nenji's in for a really rough time today. There are two girls who want to go on a date with him. He resolves to take them both to a theme park at the same time. The girls fight over him all day. It is hilarious to see him struggle.
In this episode, we learn more about Yuriko and her feelings towards Nenji. When Nanaka is so happy about a bad test score , she gets so confused . We also get a cute flashback of Nenji and Nanaka as little kids. Really nice.
Today we meet some funny new characters. Jinpachi tries to act tough but Nenji beats him. Nanaka has a hard time when her glasses break outside. It's just so funny to see Nenji trying to make everything right for her. The show is still so cute.
Nanaka goes back to high school, but she still behaves like a little girl. Now she really wants to play piano. Her classmates think she’s being really weird. Nenji does his best to help her keep her secret. It’s a very sweet episode.”
It’s a crazy first episode. Nanaka is smart, but is very mean to her friend Nenji. They have a big fight and she ends up falling down the stairs. When she wakes she thinks she's six. It's hilarious to see her act like a kid now.
Episode 10 continues Nanaka's growth in a meaningful way. Seeing the 17-year-old Nanaka become aware of her 6-year-old self and learn to communicate with her was surprisingly creative for a 2003 anime. A crisis becomes an opportunity, and that opportunity leads to real character growth.
The 17-year-old Nanaka returns, but this time she's changing for the better. I used to dislike how arrogant, distant, and self-centered she was. Now she's willing to listen and give others a chance. It's a satisfying step in her growth.
