Episode 10 continues Nanaka's growth in a meaningful way. Seeing the 17-year-old Nanaka become aware of her 6-year-old self and learn to communicate with her was surprisingly creative for a 2003 anime. A crisis becomes an opportunity, and that opportunity leads to real character growth.
