Nenji's in for a really rough time today. There are two girls who want to go on a date with him. He resolves to take them both to a theme park at the same time. The girls fight over him all day. It is hilarious to see him struggle.

Episode 5 introduces Kuriko, a cute 6-year-old who falls for Nenji after he accidentally saves her. Nanaka gets surprisingly jealous, afraid someone might steal him away. It's funny, but also realistic. As you know, kids can get adorably possessive, leaving the adults around them completely helpless.

It was a pretty light-hearted episode, a breather. The pacing was slow as a new side character was introduced. The competition was real, but it was kind of refreshing to see from the perspective of young ones. The mood was nostalgic, as it also brought back the kind of point-of-view of grade school kids have. Definitely the peak romance so far, as Nenji was also starting to feel it too. But it was kind of weird that he felt it during these circumstances.
