Shoto felt really mature in this episode. I kinda felt bad for Fuyumi, though—she’s genuinely trying her best to keep the family together. T^T This episode was dialogue-driven and focused more on story progression while adding even more mystery and lore into the mix.

This episode leaned more into story progression and some major lore drops that felt highly significant to the plot. It still left a lot of mystery unresolved, though, which honestly made the story even more intriguing and exciting to follow.

This episode focused more on building intrigue and raising even more questions instead of answering them, lol. Still, I really liked it. It was a great way to set up the season and slowly build anticipation for what’s coming next.

Episode Context

Following the season premiere's reintroduction of Class 1-A through a lighter training exercise, this second episode pivots sharply into character-driven territory, building emotional and narrative infrastructure for the season ahead. Endeavor's internal reckoning, Hawks' covert dealings, and Midoriya's enigmatic vision each plant seeds that will resonate across multiple arcs. This bridge episode provides essential context before the season ramps up with the highly anticipated Class 1-A vs. Class 1-B joint training battles starting in the next episode.
