EPISODE REVIEWS

I like it :)

I loved this episode! Studio Bones is so good at making anime-original content that it genuinely felt canon to the manga. This episode was hilarious, interesting, and entertaining enough to keep you watching the whole time.

Episode Context

As the Season 5 premiere, this episode bridges the gap between Season 4's intense Endeavor arc and the joint training battles between Class 1-A and Class 1-B that will define the early portion of this season. It deliberately dials back tension to reset the ensemble and spotlight teamwork, ensuring every student's abilities are fresh in the audience's mind. Think of it as the launchpad, setting tone, reintroducing stakes at the class level, and laying groundwork for the rivalries about to ignite.
