Ooh, this arc is interesting. I already read this part in the manga, and it was definitely great there, too. I’m loving this already, especially because Shinso is finally here again!

Bakugo and Midoriya’s interactions feel much lighter and funnier now, and I really love that development between them. This episode mainly focused on setting up the battle training arc while building anticipation for what’s about to happen next.

This episode was more dialogue-driven in the first half, then shifted into building tension and high-stakes battles in the second half. This arc is already looking really good, especially since we finally get to see Class 1-B in action again.

Episode Context

Following the enigmatic One For All visions in 'Vestiges,' this third episode marks the official launch of the Joint Training Arc, pivoting from mystery to action as the season's first major multi-episode conflict begins. It establishes the rules of engagement, the team matchups, and Shinso's integration as a key figure whose arc will run through the coming battles. Expect this setup to pay dividends across the next several episodes as each round of class-versus-class combat unfolds.
