Synopsis
Meet Mob, a quiet, unremarkable eighth-grader whose real name is Shigeo Kageyama, who happens to possess some of the most powerful psychic abilities imaginable, and all he really wants is to talk to his crush without being awkward. That gap between what Mob can do and who Mob actually is drives this entire 12-episode TV series, and it's kind of brilliant. He works part-time for Reigen, a fast-talking con man who runs a fake psychic consultation business but uses Mob's very real powers to handle actual supernatural problems. Their dynamic alone is worth the watch, Reigen is one of the funniest mentor figures in anime, constantly bullshitting his way through situations while Mob just quietly trusts him. Here's what makes it stand out though: Mob suppresses his emotions because when he feels too much, his powers spike uncontrollably. There's a literal percentage counter that ticks up toward 100% as his feelings build, and when it hits. you'll know. Studio Bones went wild with the animation, mixing painterly styles, rough sketches, and fluid sakuga in ways that feel genuinely different from anything else out there. If you liked One Punch Man, same creator, similar idea of an overpowered protagonist, but Mob Psycho leans harder into the coming-of-age side. If The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. clicked with you, this hits comparable notes but with more emotional weight and better action. It's a comedy about a psychic kid that somehow ends up being one of the more grounded stories about growing up.

Entertaining, exciting, great visual representation
Tldr; regular high school boys, like regular high school girl... but with bald pyschic villain getting in the way. Wacky story if you just jumped in into ONE stories (he created OPM or one punch man), it's like "what if" stories.. what if saitama doesn't lose all his hair, and still working in office. (That's Reigen, one of the main character..) please try one punch man manga or anime 1st, if you enjoyed their gag... you'll love this one much better.

The show is just getting better and better with this episode. The humor and action did not disappoint, what impress me the most is how Mob view his psychic ability compare to other rather "normal" ability, it refreshing to see this kind of view in a main character.
This episode is very intriguing, in my opinion the main focus is the relationship dynamic between Shigeo and his brother Ritsu. It seems like Ritsu has a difference view of super power compare to his brother which is very interesting.
This episode really highlight Mob's state of mind, what he think of his super power, his desire and how he face obstacle. Really exciting and mesmerizing to see his super power at climax, great episode overall!
This episode is absolutely hilarious! A lot of interaction and scenarios is meme-worthy and the world building with clubs activities, especially the first appearance of Body Improvement club is so wholesome!
I did not expect the opening to be so amazing, this first episode nailed the artistic style and pace for the anime. The title point in introducing Reigen but also cleverly reveal our main character mental state and his surrounding world. Definitely worth watching!
While it seems like more of an introduction to Reigen Arataka, I can't complain since he's my favorite character. Mob has a good intro, especially with that beautiful introduction sequence, but it's made clear to us that the story is about him. The art is beautiful and wacky.
This episode of Mob Psycho leaves no emotion untouched; one moment you can be laughing and the next you can be crying. The animation is fantastic and portrays the fast paced fight in a visually stunning way. Amazing watch
Reigen is not only a conman but also a ragebaiter. This is second-hand aura farming. Mix of tense, comedy, and misunderstandings really makes this fun to watch
