I did not expect the opening to be so amazing, this first episode nailed the artistic style and pace for the anime. The title point in introducing Reigen but also cleverly reveal our main character mental state and his surrounding world. Definitely worth watching!

While it seems like more of an introduction to Reigen Arataka, I can't complain since he's my favorite character. Mob has a good intro, especially with that beautiful introduction sequence, but it's made clear to us that the story is about him. The art is beautiful and wacky.

Trippy Visuals, unique characters, and goofy animation. Yup this is going to be a fun and interesting anime to watch . The voice acting really emphasizes the uniqueness and goofiness of each character.

Strong opening episode that sets the tone perfectly. You get a mix of absurd comedy, unique characters, and a hint of emotional depth. Great introduction to the world and its weird but charming vibe. 👀

This was stunning. The artistic style and the execution of the animation choreography are truly remarkable. I appreciate how they are maintaining the artistic style inspired by the manga. In my opinion, the OP song is pleasant, quite stylish, and also catchy.

A bit weird but still interesting. Shigeo Kageyama is really strong but struggles with emotions, while Arataka Reigen is a fake psychic who still guides him. It’s a messy start, but sets things up well.

You should definitely watch this! The dynamic between the fraud psychic Reigen and the incredibly powerful Mob is hilarious. The animation in the tunnel scene at the end is top-tier. It’s a perfect mix of dry comedy and supernatural action.

Reigen is a CON MAN and I love it. Throwing table salt at spirits like it'll do something? Mob watching him crash then casually melting the biker ghost? Too funny. The boss spirit crying over his photo at the end? Didn't expect feels. Something about this show feels nice. 🌟

MUST WATCH, especially if you liked One Punch Man and want something WEIRDER. But if the art style throws you off, give it ONE more episode. This ep is a VISUAL FEAST with a unique sense of humor that's either gonna hook you or push you away. Highly recommend frr.

WOW! Season 2 hits hard right from the start. I love how Mob’s world already feels bigger. The humor’s still sharp, but there’s this underlying tension that keeps me glued.

Good start to the season. This episode shows the relationship between a self-proclaimed "exorcist" Reigen Arataka and his apprentice, Shigeo Kageyama AKA Mob! They are funny and chaotic to watch. Mob has incredible psychic powers and like how Reigen uses it. The animation may look weird at first, but definitely it's unique an colorful.

A fun opening to a fun anime. Mob and Reigen's relationship is very interesting and unusual, not the typical Master/Apprentice you can find in any anime. If you want a heartwarming, charming story about a crazy powerful psychic boy and his silly sensei, this one is for you.

Very interesting for an opener, kageyama kun’s op psychic powers were very much introduced.
His “master” a literally fraud was very funny to watch, and mob is just and innocent child not aware of the whole situation and let’s not forget the colorful chaotic animation style.

The story and its presentation is great. The highlight of the episode is when Shigeo showed up and fought the ghost and defeated it. The dialouge of the characters are funny and engaging.

The animation style and humor is unique. Colors are vibrant. keeps you hook up in the story. Episode one introduces the duo of Mob Kageyama and Regein.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the series premiere of a twelve-episode season, this episode exists entirely to plant the flag—establishing Mob and Reigen's exploitative yet oddly compelling partnership and introducing the psychic ecosystem they operate in. Everything here is foundational: Mob's emotional suppression, the percentage counter ticking toward something dangerous, and Reigen's role as a mentor figure built on lies all become critical threads the season will pull on relentlessly. The groundwork laid in this opener directly fuels the escalating stakes and character arcs that define the episodes ahead.
