This episode is very intriguing, in my opinion the main focus is the relationship dynamic between Shigeo and his brother Ritsu. It seems like Ritsu has a difference view of super power compare to his brother which is very interesting.

The unhinged moments of Shigeo sometimes catches me off guard. Mix of goofy and unhinged moments reallly makes you laugh and refreshed.

This episode focuses more on character development and world-building. It introduces new dynamics while keeping the energy high with a mix of action and humor. Nice to see other key character gets a spotlight~

This episode had good action and brought in some fun characters, but in terms of visuals and writing, it wasn't as good as the previous 3 imo but it still had its moments. I really loved that the body-building guys genuinely cared for Mob and went to rescue him.

Introduces Teruki Hanazawa, who clearly sees himself as above everyone. He contrasts well with Mob’s more quiet and humble attitude. The delinquents aren’t that important. It’s mostly setup, but it leads nicely into the next episode.

A very strong episode focusing on the sibling dynamic. It’s a bit more psychological as we see things from Ritsu’s perspective.

I really felt the balance between funny and serious moments here. Mob’s reactions feel so real, and the episode made me care more about the world around him.

Mob vs delinquents and it's not even a fight. He just stands there getting beat up cause he doesn't want to hurt people? Painful. Then Teruki shows up and actually uses powers to help? Wait this guy is different. Something about how he "plays" with delinquents is off. 🥋

This episode is where Mob Psycho 100 starts firing on ALL cylinders. If you skip this, you miss the entire foundation for the next arc. The body Improvement Club are genuinely good guys who drop everything their member is PEAK wholesomeness.

I watched this episode, and it focuses more on character and comedy than big psychic battles. It highlights Mob’s emotional growth and social awkwardness in a natural, relatable way. A calm but enjoyable episode that adds depth to the story. from my side, it's 9/10.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the LOL cult confrontation in episode 3, this episode escalates the season's central question — what happens when Mob's pacifist principles are directly challenged by someone who weaponizes the same abilities he refuses to rely on. Teru's introduction is a pivotal catalyst for Mob's character development across the first season. The fallout from this encounter feeds directly into episode 5, 'OCHIMUSHA: Psychic Powers and Me,' where the consequences continue to reshape Mob's understanding of himself.
