Animation on the witch is surprisingly smooth and that vision scene in the shop went way further than the first episode

those crystal ball predictions actually happening in real time with the updated colors and sound design was very satisfying

Her face showed so much dread, even though you know she is secretly into it, and it made the atmosphere in the shop feel more intense.

watching her slowly lose control of the situation as the vision unfolds is the reason this show is actually good

I love the irony of her being this powerful seer who is totally helpless against her own predictions, and the way the customer just follows her lead without knowing the context is hilarious. The animation during the main scene at the end was a huge step up from the pilot and it really captured her desperation well.

that lighting in the back room made the animation look so much better than the first episode and her reactions are still amazing

inu_no_taisho
the contrast between her mystical job and her being so broke that she has to work this hard makes her more relatable

you can tell she is struggling to stay composed while he gets closer and that desk scene was exactly what she saw in the future

the art on her outfit when she is trying to act professional is nice but her face when she realizes her vision is starting was the best part

I think seeing her freak out because she knows exactly what is coming makes this way better and the way he just walked in was so perfect

it really got me when she tried to fight her own prophecy but ended up doing exactly what she saw in her crystal ball anyway

this whole episode was just pure cringe and it felt like a chore to get through the halfway mark

that loli professor trying to kill herself with the mana staff is such a weird plot point and it makes no sense

the lizard guy just standing there while they took off the magic cloak was so stupid and it ruined the tension

i actually felt annoyed watching sayb and hort make the dumbest choices possible and i might just drop this now

hort working for the church after what happened to her friend makes zero sense and it makes her so hard to like

The animation jump from the pilot to this is actually staggering and you can see how much the production crew cares about getting it right especially during that heavy CGI part that looked like a movie budget was behind it but it sucks that the marketing is so bad because people are sleeping on something this high quality right now

The staff is working so hard on these details and it makes the wait for next week feel way too long

My eyes were glued to the screen when that CGI sequence started because it looked so polished and I am definitely telling my friends to watch this one

Every frame of the Roland scene showed so much passion and the way the colors popped made it feel so much more professional

EPISODE CONTEXT

This is the concluding episode of a two-episode series, meaning everything introduced in Episode 1 — the characters, their dynamic, and the witch-themed fantasy setting — arrives at its resolution here. There is no next episode, so this chapter carries full closure responsibility. Viewers who enjoyed the first episode's setup should find this finale brings the central relationship to its natural endpoint.
