Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right

Ishikawa and Otori's friendship is beautiful, the two of them both learn and influence each other to be better people. They support each other and the people around them are affected by their relationship which in turn makes everyone support them too.

Otori taking care of Ishikawa became the norm that when they were avoiding each other, the others became worried and felt something was off. That was funny and a big turnaround from how the class felt the first time.

Otori, Kusunoki, and Sakuma's first time meeting the mom when they visited Ishikawa's house was scary but hilarious. I thought it was her sibling but it turned out to be the mother. Ishikawa and Otori have become official mascot characters, loved by the people around them.

Ishikawa's presence was enough to heal and help the other students get through their work while Otori was saving the others by lending them a hand in art stuff. Such a difference in the help they give but it's wonderful that they're both irreplaceable existences for the school.

It's finally here, the beach episode, though this one shaped up to be more of a class outing than just Ishikawa and her guardians. Let's all feel and experience the summer with them, like a much needed break from reality for a while.

Ishikawa now has 3 official parents at school. Welcome to the club Kusunoki. She will balance out the group's dynamics as Otori and Sakuma baby Ishikawa a lot.

It's good to see that Ishikawa and Otori have grown to be more open about themselves. The two of them becoming beloved characters by the people around them is also nice, like Ryuu and Kotaro in Gakuen Babysitters.

Ishikawa is finally interacting with someone else other than Otori and Sakuma. Misa is the needed reality check for Ishikawa while still being someone who finds Ishikawa cute.

It's great to see the two's friendship but it's kind of sad that we only find out the names of a handful of characters from Otori's interactions with them. Ishikawa doesn't have much screentime with the others which make them more like NPCs.

The Ishikawa and Otori combi has become a norm unlike in the second episode when Otori was getting stares for being friendly with her. The other characters accepting this immediately feels kind of off, like it was just smoothed out immediately without an actual resolution.

While there is growth in Ishikawa's character, the other characters are still being established. It's slow but we're getting to know more about the gang. Otori really looks like Tanaka from Tanaka is Always Listless.

If you want to watch an anime about vampires but at the same time a healing anime, you should try this. Also, if you like gap moe, this show has that too. Ishikawa is cool but the chibi is adorable, and her voice when chibi is cute too.

It’s Otori’s birthday and Luna goes full mama mode trying to bake him a cake. Seeing her finally be 100% herself is the best payoff. I love their friendship. I'm gonna miss this anime for sure. It's worth the watch!

This is such a heartwarming episode. It’s peak slice of life. Watching Luna try to plan a surprise party while being her usual clumsy self is hilarious and wholesome.

We finally see where Luna lives and her apartment is actually a massive underground tower! I also enjoy watching their school festival moments too. It's a fun episode.

Oh this is cute! It’s the start of summer break and the vibes are so chill. The pacing is a bit slow since they’re just prepping for the school festival but seeing Luna get hyped for her first ever festival is adorable.

It’s the classic beach trip vibe but with a vampire twist. The fireworks look so good and seeing Luna finally stop acting cool and just be herself is the best kind of growth. Super chill and 100% worth it.

If you like the comedy, this episode hits. Luna is so adorable preparing for their beach getaway. I just can't stop laughing at her cuteness. Oh, I love their section too. Everyone seems so supportive!

We finally see Otori’s house! The tone is super cozy and the animation of chibi Luna in the art room after she showed her drawing is literally the cutest thing this episode!

Total fluff overload! Luna getting emo because she thinks everyone forgot her birthday is too relatable. The pacing is chill and seeing Misa join the "Luna protection squad" is top-tier character development. 10/10 for the surprise party vibes.
