It's finally here, the beach episode, though this one shaped up to be more of a class outing than just Ishikawa and her guardians. Let's all feel and experience the summer with them, like a much needed break from reality for a while.

It’s the classic beach trip vibe but with a vampire twist. The fireworks look so good and seeing Luna finally stop acting cool and just be herself is the best kind of growth. Super chill and 100% worth it.

She finally makes a bit of progress and everyone celebrates like she just unlocked a legendary skill.

Episode Context

Episode 8 of 12 sits comfortably in the series' summer stretch, directly following Episode 7's swimsuit shopping outing, making this the payoff to that setup as the group finally hits the beach. It deepens the character bonds established across the first half while transitioning the season toward its back quarter, where a school festival arc is expected to take center stage.
