While there is growth in Ishikawa's character, the other characters are still being established. It's slow but we're getting to know more about the gang. Otori really looks like Tanaka from Tanaka is Always Listless.

This ep leans more into comedy and awkward moments. The pacing feels smoother than ep1 and Ishikawa’s struggles are actually kinda funny now instead of just secondhand embarrassment. Animation’s still cute. It's starting to find its charm.
