The pacing was consistent from start to finish, and it really kept me completely engaged. The start, especially, was extremely strong. Kobayashi had to make some really tough decisions this time, and it looks like her investment is really paying off.
That was easily one of the most intense episodes of the series so far. The tension just kept building without letting up, leading right into a genuinely goated moment that completely stole the show.
This episode got me replaying it another time! The fight really made me sit still and root for the retrieval team, and I also felt the tension from the defense squad knowing all that has happened before they were deployed. Looks like the intensity isn't letting up soon -- hoping we get a satisfying payoff in the next episode!
