READTHROUGH
A Rival Appears
Aimi and Nami begin their day observing Kirio, as is their routine. This quiet ritual shatters when Satsuki, a girl of effortless charm, enters. Satsuki addresses Kirio with a casual familiarity that cuts Aimi deep. As Aimi watches Satsuki excel in everything from conversation to basketball, her jealousy hardens into a formidable obstacle. Satsuki, seemingly without effort, embodies all that Aimi wishes to be.
Nami's Pep Talk
Defeated, Aimi slumps, confessing her inadequacy to Nami. She believes she cannot make Kirio smile like Satsuki can. Nami delivers a sharp, direct speech, reminding Aimi that love is a battle. Aimi, fired by Nami's words, transforms despair into a steely resolve. She vows to win Kirio's affection, not just by matching Satsuki, but by surpassing her.
The Kind Rival
Their newfound determination is tested when Satsuki approaches them directly. She asks Aimi and Nami to return a towel to Kirio, her manner entirely polite. Satsuki's genuine kindness and lack of ulterior motive leave Aimi reeling. It is far easier to battle a villain than a truly good person. This unexpected encounter complicates Aimi's simple rivalry.
The Organ Song Begins
In the music room, Aimi declares her intent to write Kirio a love song, a declaration that surprises Nami. Nami, ever the loyal friend, offers her musical talents. As Aimi tries to articulate her profound feelings, her words twist from romantic sentiment into something strangely anatomical. They begin to craft lyrics that describe a love so deep it encompasses Kirio's very internal structure.
A Ballad of Organs
The song takes its final, absurd form with a list of Kirio's internal organs. Nami's beautiful piano melody contrasts sharply with Aimi's fervent, organ-centric lyrics. Aimi sings the "Kirio-kun Love Song" with surprising emotional depth, moving Nami to tears. Their triumph is cut short by a furious teacher, forcing them to flee before recording the bizarre masterpiece for Kirio.
Kirio's Wall
Later, Kirio leaves school with Momose and Satsuki, who note Kirio's usual reserve. He deflects Satsuki's direct question about his feelings for Aimi or Nami with vague answers. Kirio's friends acknowledge the "wall" he maintains, a barrier no one seems to penetrate. He remains an enigma, even to those closest to him.
The Eraser Incident
As Aimi and Nami walk home, Nami asks about the genesis of Aimi's crush. Aimi recounts a flashback to their first year. She describes Kirio clumsily retrieving her fallen eraser, bumping his head hard in the process. His sincere, if dazed, politeness in that moment sealed her devotion. It was his earnest awkwardness, not his perfection, that won her over.
Lingering Doubts
At the train station, Aimi and Nami part ways, but their thoughts linger. Aimi questions her own vulnerability, having revealed such a personal story. Nami, meanwhile, finds herself reflecting on her own unacknowledged feelings. The episode closes with both girls lost in their own complicated internal worlds, the true nature of their feelings still unresolved.
EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode focuses on the effort they're putting in for Kirio. The song they created is quite nice and feels like a concert. The tension starts to build up. At the end, it leaves us with a shocking truth.

This episode turns up the charm. The interactions' flow is so natural that you can easily get lost in their silly conversations. Everything moves at a gentle pace. This allows all the comedic moments to land right on target. I was genuinely impressed by the soft color palette used in the backgrounds. I felt relaxed after watching this one.

This one hits a softer vibe but still chaotic, but there’s actual emotion sneaking in. Kirio not just that guy but actually has some layers to him too, so that was nice to see as well.
