Kirio Fan Club Episode 1: Dear Kirio-kun

The episode opens with a fantastical re-imagining of a romantic confession. A black uniform jacket floats eerily in a dreamlike space as Nami's reverbed voice begins a love letter. Aimi's voice follows, proclaiming love, as a silhouette of Kirio appears, solidifying into a handsome boy. This idealized scene is then revealed to be a secret observation by Aimi and Nami, hiding and peeking out from behind a building, their faces a mix of rapture and mild annoyance.

Later, in the school lounge, Aimi and Nami are practicing a confession to Kirio. Nami, looking shy and a little flustered, reluctantly takes on Kirio's role. Her attempt is stiff, overly formal, and promptly critiqued by Aimi. Nami protests, saying she would be too nervous to confess for real.

When it is her turn, Aimi undergoes a startling transformation. She perfectly mimics Kirio's calm, almost vacant classroom stare, shocking Nami. Aimi even quotes a textbook page number with Kirio's detached politeness. She then coyly admits she likes 'that part' of him, leaving Nami utterly bewildered.

Nami, frustrated by her own inability to imitate Kirio, declares him a 'god,' too divine for casual impersonation. This leads to an absurd, protracted discussion about whether gods fart. Nami imagines Kirio's farts as 'majestic' and 'golden,' while Aimi questions the implications of such divine bodily functions.

As they discuss their lack of connection to Kirio, Aimi spots a forgotten black uniform jacket on his desk in an empty classroom. She immediately recognizes it as a precious opportunity, a 'hook' to finally interact with Kirio. Nami is initially overwhelmed, seeing it as a sacred item, too precious to simply return.

Aimi makes to take the jacket, but Nami stops her, protesting that it is unfair. They decide to compete for the right to return it, first with an ill-fated rock-paper-scissors game where Aimi uses both hands. When this proves unsatisfactory, Nami proposes a new contest, writing down as many things they like about Kirio within a minute.

The chalkboard competition begins, with Aimi listing qualities like 'kindness' and 'coolness.' Nami, however, begins writing out Kirio's internal organs. Aimi protests, but Nami defiantly claims she loves Kirio 'organ by organ,' thus winning the contest. Nami triumphantly takes the jacket, teasing Aimi about who gets to hear Kirio's farts.

Aimi is troubled by their rivalry and asks Nami if they are not friends. Nami turns, her expression serious, and states they are rivals. She explains that true love sometimes means stepping on others. Nami dismisses Aimi's hope of cooperation, calling it naive.

Distraught, Aimi runs after Nami, calling out to her. She trips, grabbing Nami's back, which sends Nami stumbling into a window. In the chaos, Kirio's jacket flies out of Nami's grasp. It tumbles out the window, landing unceremoniously in a bush below as both girls watch in horror.

A flashback reveals the true events of Miki's confession to Kirio under the cherry tree. Aimi and Nami were indeed observing, but their presence was not a mere passive act. They had climbed onto each other's shoulders in a clumsy attempt to retrieve the jacket, which was caught in a tree branch. Their interference caused a chaotic struggle, inadvertently making Kirio lose his jacket and disrupting the romantic moment.

Back in the present, with the jacket retrieved from the bush, Aimi questions if they should still return it. Nami thoughtfully explains that directly returning it would be 'creepy' since they have never spoken to Kirio. They decide to leave it on his desk, acknowledging that it is 'not the right time yet.' As they leave, Aimi takes a sly photo of herself and Nami with the jacket.

Later, in the empty, sunset-lit classroom, Kirio enters, relieved to find his jacket on his desk. He notices the peculiar chalk writings on the board, the list of organs and qualities, and looks confused. He then subtly reveals his peculiar habit, a secret passion for collecting forgotten items from the classroom. He finds the writings simply 'scary.'
