Episode Context

Sitting at Episode 18 of 25, this marks a deliberate pivot from Episode 17's lighthearted group outing into deeper individual character work, signaling the series is broadening its emotional scope for the final stretch. Chizuru's arc gets its foundation here, with her relationship with Ryuu positioned as a throughline that will carry consequences into subsequent episodes. This shift ensures the back third of the season isn't solely dependent on Sawako's romantic journey, enriching the ensemble dynamics heading toward the conclusion.
