After all the Kurumi drama, things feel softer but awkward between Sawako and Kazehaya. They both clearly like each other, yet neither can say it. There’s cute tension, teasing from friends, and that slow-burn romance feeling getting stronger again

Episode Context

Arriving just past the season's midpoint after a recap episode, 'Holiday' re-centers the story on Sawako's everyday life and her strengthening friendships with Ayane and Chizuru. It functions as a palette cleanser that deepens character bonds before the final third of the season, where the romantic tension between Sawako and Kazehaya is expected to escalate significantly. Think of it as the calm foundation the show is reinforcing before things get emotionally complicated.
