Slow burn pacing on this ep. Still not used to the new and crisp art style like Hajime no Ippo. Adding the CGI animation doesn't gave the impact factor or smoothness of the animation. Was getting hype rather with the screeching sounds of the drift, music, and tailing of the cars.

Now this episode starts getting interesting and exciting hahaha takumi focus on strategy than pure speed. You can see how his mindset and patience to the race it was so sick, this episode is solid.

Incredible competitive action! Great build up to the racing and the classic Initial D suspense all while not slowing down the pacing makes this a fun. Love the downshifting and gear shifting animations of the Lancer EVO driver.
