The animation quality on this ep kind of dropped a bit. The character expression's still dull as ever yet the pacing's perfect for Takumi's continuous self-development. He's conflicted on his personal interests rather than solidifying his focused mainly on what he does best.

The AE86 was pushed to its absolute limit this episode. There was a moment I didn’t expect that actually made me sad. You can also see Takumi starting to question himself and whether he needs to level up mentally. Overall, the race was really solid.

It was funny because the background song was perfect while Takumi threw his drink. I know that finding out about Natsuki makes Takumi upset and it hit so hard, but the level of tension will keep you really engaged.
