The ep was building plot for Takumi's character development which made the pacing slow. Nice hearing the young and cool voice of Kazuki Yao, voice of Franky. The facial expressions were still, nothing felt real emotions conveyed. Appreciated the ED like classic, retro vibes.

well this episode is way more hype than the first one, Everyone’s debating whether they should upgrade the 86 or not, hahahah. It gave me chills when the Emperor team rolled up on Mt. Akina. Can’t wait to see them actually race LFG!

The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO of the Emperors are a definitively among the best cars in this series. Sometimes the side characters may seem completely absurd, but the drama makes it worth.
