A sufficiently satisfying ending to Lumachina arc, plenty of badass, emotional scene and fanservice too. There's still unanswered questions which served as a hook for the possibility of a third season, overall a great and easy to enjoy watch.
How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Ω
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Sure, he's an overpowered Demon King in a fantasy world, but Diablo has one critical weakness — he's actually a socially awkward gamer who can barely hold a conversation without defaulting to his cringy villain roleplay. Season two picks up with Diablo and his growing party running into Lumachina, a High Priestess who's convinced he's literally God. She needs help rooting out corruption in the Church, and Diablo, still pretending to be an all-powerful overlord while internally panicking, agrees to protect her. The group now includes Rem, Shera, the tiny Grasswalker Horn, and Rose, a maid who is also basically a weapon. It's a 10-episode TV series that wastes no time getting into the new arc, mixing decent fantasy action with the kind of ecchi comedy that either works for you or doesn't — so know what you're signing up for. The fun is really in watching Diablo bluff his way through every situation using game knowledge while his harem keeps expanding and complicating things. If you liked the power fantasy angle of Overlord but want something way less serious, or you enjoyed the isekai humor in No Game No Life, this hits a similar groove. Fans of The Rising of the Shield Hero's underdog-turned-OP dynamic might vibe with it too, though the tone here leans much more comedic and romantic. It's comfort food isekai — nothing groundbreaking, but it knows exactly what it is.

Quick Takes
View all 10 takesWe got Horn's second character development here, but I'm afraid the emotional moment just doesn't reach that well. Diablo's plan thrown into a wreck by Lumachina unexpected answer as the stakes get higher and higher. 7/10.
We're finally getting into the meat of season 2 plot as Diablo and his party arrived at the Royal Capital. The build-up tension from Zircon Tower arc was exactly for this moment! There's also some fanservice for our newest addition to the group, Rose.
