A powerful MMORPG player, summoned to another world as the "Demon Lord," accidentally enslaves his summoners and must navigate the new world while maintaining his in-game persona.

📖 SYNOPSIS

In the MMORPG Cross Reverie, Takuma Sakamoto has conquered everything — maxed stats, rarest gear, known as the Demon King Diablo. He's also a total shut-in who can barely hold a conversation. Then one day he gets pulled into a world that looks exactly like his game, except now he IS Diablo — horns, cape, overwhelming power, the whole deal. Two girls, Rem and Shera, both claim they summoned him and try to enslave him with a binding ritual. Problem is, Takuma's got a passive ability called Magic Reflection, so the spell bounces back and now they're the ones wearing slave collars. Awkward. Takuma has no idea how to talk to people, let alone two girls who are literally magically bound to him, so he just leans into the Demon King roleplay to avoid social situations. It's a surprisingly effective coping mechanism. The three of them set off to figure out how to break the spell, running into political conflicts, powerful enemies, and plenty of ecchi situations along the way. The comedy mostly comes from the gap between Takuma's intimidating Demon King exterior and his panicking inner monologue, which lands more often than you'd expect. It's a 12-episode TV series from Ajia-do, based on the light novel. If you liked the isekai power fantasy angle of Overlord but want something way less serious, or if KonoSuba's comedic isekai energy worked for you and you don't mind more fanservice, this one fits that niche pretty well. It knows exactly what it is and commits to it.

✨ MUST WATCH IF...

You enjoy an overpowered isekai protagonist who hides social anxiety behind a chuuni Demon Lord act
Ecchi-heavy harem comedy with catgirl and elf heroines is exactly your kind of fun
Ajia-do's animation quality is solid here — detailed backgrounds and clean character designs throughout 12 episodes
You're okay with familiar isekai tropes as long as the comedy lands and keeps things lighthearted

❌ SKIP IF...

You want intense, well-choreographed action scenes — the fights here feel flat and one-sided
Heavy fan service every few minutes breaks your immersion and kills narrative momentum for you
You're looking for meaningful character development or story depth beyond standard harem dynamics
