In this episode, the betrayal happened right in front of Lumachina, which is also kind of annoying because they didn't notice it as early on. But like the way the author manages to make this such a relatable concept really amazing. all in all it's a 10/10 and worth to watch.

Battuta vs Diablo. I expected some rivalry, and it delivered well this episode! But it was too fast to finish in one episode. There are two sides to the storyline here which is saving Rem and Lumachina, and needing to stop the disease!

Well, another clichéd evil old dude trope. Plot is quite transparent compared to the first season more engaging one, unfortunantely. We also got a more proper fight scene for Diablo than the previous episode, but still nothing crazy. 6/10.

Episode Context

Coming off episode 2's introduction of Batutta and the Head Paladin encounter, 'Corrupt Ritual' escalates the Church corruption plotline that serves as Season 2's central conflict through its early stretch. At episode 3 of 10, this is the pivot point where setup gives way to consequence. It directly feeds into episode 4, 'Personal Domain,' which shifts the group's focus toward obtaining a hidden treasure tied to curing the Death Knell Disease.
